The Sapphire is a disc designed to be used alongside the Diamond, which is our most popular and Easy-to-Use fairway driver. It is lightweight, easy to grip, and easy to control. Its slim profile allows for smooth releases, and it’s especially great for those with smaller hands. The disc designer, Tomas Ekström, had three objectives in mind when creating the Sapphire. The first was to make a faster Diamond that could go further and would appeal to Diamond fans. The second was to give the disc a rim that was easy to grip, despite being wider than the Diamond. The third goal was to increase the disc’s stability, providing a faster driver with a bit less high-speed turn.
